You can also pre-order a ploughman's lunch or cream tea to enjoy during your journey and if you're bringing the grandchildren along there is also a children's box available.

The journey between Tenterden and Bodiam takes around 1 hour and 45 minutes to travel the 21 mile round trip and you can break your journey along the way.  Bodiam Castle is a short walk from the station and you will enjoy discounted admission with a valid train ticket.

 Ticket is valid all day, meet the Fat Controller, take unlimited rides down the line (apx 20 mins) behind Thomas, enjoy platform rides behind a real steam engine, soft play, bouncy castles, unlimited rides on the carousel, facepainting, balloon modelling, storytelling with Rusty & Dusty, magic shows and much more!

Join the Kent & East Sussex Railway as they welcome Thomas for a day of family fun. A ticket for Day Out With Thomas includes the train ride with Thomas as well as a variety of Thomas & Friends™ themed entertainment. Guests will also have the opportunity to meet The Fat Controller from the Island of Sodor.
