The Barn Theatre at Smallhythe Place
22 September 2017, 7.30pm
Tickets £15
Told through Jane's eyes, English literature's most celebrated autobiographical novel is distilled for the stage. Reviewed as "a theatrical masterpiece", this moving production is now being brought to the Barn Theatre at Smallhythe Place.
Rebecca Vaughan embodies everywoman Jane - and several other characters - in this intimate study of love's realities. Struggling to think, live and love beyond the stifling expectations of duty, class and convention, governess Jane Eyre and Master Edward Rochester take a dark journey towards sensual and intellectual liberation.
The Theatre tearoom will be open from 6pm selling a full menu of hot and cold refreshments.
